Lisa Brinkman
Lisa Brinkman was born and raised in north-central Alabama and has an Early Childhood Education degree from the University of North Alabama. Lisa’s entire career has centered around teaching and working with children and youth. Lisa became a Christian at a young age so being involved in church has been a huge part of her life. She and her husband Kyle became active members of RRUMC shortly after moving to the Upstate of South Carolina in 2019. The have one adult daughter, Emily, who lives in the Destin, Florida area.
In addition to the responsibility of coordinating these very important ministries, Lisa is also a member of the Praise Team and two of our small-group Bible studies. She believes that investing in our children and youth by teaching them about Jesus is one of the greatest callings. Some of Lisa’s favorite Bible verses are “Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it. And he (Jesus) took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.” (Mark 10:15-16).
