Reidville Road Methodist Church

Loyd Dennis has been the Handbell Director at Reidville Road UMC since 1998. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Special Education with a minor in music from Converse College. She has a Master's degree in Technology in Education from Leslie University. Loyd has been directing handbells since 1984. She was the handbell director at St. Paul UMC and Trinity UMC before coming to Reidville Road. She also directed the children’s choir at St. Paul. She also sings in the adult choir. Loyd is from North Carolina originally but has been in South Carolina since 1976. Her husband and daughter also play the handbells. When Loyd is not at church she likes to sew, do crafts, camp, and read.
