FunFest 2009

RRUMC will hold its 14th annual Labor Day Fun Fest on Monday, September 7

Join us for fun, food and fellowship!

Last year, activities included a rock climbing wall, dual slide, trackless train,

crazy caterpillar, Home Depot workshop and bounce house. 

Barbecue, hot dogs, and chicken plates will include beans, slaw, chips and a beverage. The barbecue will be provided by the "Smokin' Okies," an award-winning team from Moore. Meals will be served from 11 am until 1 pm. Carolina Gourmet Snowballs will offer over 45 flavors of snow cones throughout the day.

A silent auction was held throughout the day featuring items provided by church members, friends and merchants, including gift certificates.

More than half of the proceeds from FunFest will benefit local charities. Revenues from last year's event allowed for the donation of over five thousand dollars to organizations serving local individuals and families in need.
